FileRescue Pro is a program that can restore accidentally deleted files and folders. This program can achieve its goal even if the data has been removed from the Recycle Bin, or deleted by viruses or trojans. FileRescue Pro supports FAT12, FAT16, FAT32, NTFS and NTFS 5 file systems, and it can recover deleted data from those partitions even it they were formatted, changed, damaged or deleted.
FileRescue will detect your drives and will show you detailed information about them, such as the data that identifies each one of the drives (name, volume label, OS object, category, description, serial number), its properties and data about the geometry of the unit. At your request, the program will scan any of your drives for lost or deleted files and folders. You can select what to recover from the list it will show and then choose the folder where you want the program to save the recovered data. The program will keep a detailed log about the files deleted, accessed and recovered.
The unregistered copy of this program will let you recover files with up to 64 Kb. in size.
